Colored Chalk

Pictures drawn with colored chalk ,

fill the neighborhood where I walk.

The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France,

elephants in tutus doing a dance.

I passed a brightly colored jewel,

this morning on my way to school.

A flock of birds flying over the sea,

a man with an umbrella chasing a bee.

Big yellow flowers, pink polka dot socks,

a zebra, a tepee, and a bright orange fox.

Colorful pictures they fill every square,

there’s even a llama without any hair.

This afternoon it’s going to rain,

I wonder if they’ll leave a stain?
