Fun and Easy Crafts for Kids

For the Birds

Items Needed:

1 Medium Size Pine cone

1 Piece of String

2-4 tbsp of Peanut Butter

½ Cup Bird Seed

1 Paper Plate

Cut a piece of string to the desired length and tie it to the pointed end of the pine cone. Spread the bird seed over the paper plate. Spread the peanut butter over the pine cone and roll it in the bird seed. Tie the pine cone to your favorite tree and enjoy watching the birds eat the seeds.

Colorful “Make Up”

Items Needed:

4 tsp Cornstarch

1 tsp Water

2 tsp Cold Cream

Food Coloring – 4 Colors

4 Small Bowls

In each bowl, mix 1 tsp cornstarch, ½ tsp water and ½ tsp cornstarch. Squeeze 2 drops of food coloring in each bowl and mix. Apply makeup and have fun!

Play Dough

Items Needed:

1 Cup White Flour

½ Cup Salt

2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

1/3 Cup Water

Food Coloring

1 Large Bowl

Mix flour, salt and vegetable oil in a large bowl. Pour the water into a 1 cup container and add 6 drops of food coloring. Add the colored water the the other ingredients a little bit at a time. Mix and have fun playing with your new Play Dough.
